Summary
Dennis Whitaker has been working at the Pitt for a few weeks now. Despite a rough first day, he manages his every day life pretty well. Or at least he felt like he did.
When a patient reminds him a bit too much of his younger self, Whitaker finds his buried feelings to be resurfacing. Not only that but the urge to make himself bleed becomes once again overwhelming. As he feels like his own mind was suffocating him, he receives an unexpected helping hand from his attending.OR
Whitaker falls back into a self destructive state and Robby finds out about it.

Summary
John has spent his entire life drenched in shame and guilt. Like most who grew up catholic, he learned shame sooner than he learned his own name. Shame and cruelty hung over the MacTavish household for years, shrouding it in a heavy cloud of misery. Finally free, he makes a list of everything he wants to do. Then he makes another. A list of experiences he wants to have before he dies, then the following list a layout of hedonistic pleasure that grows slowly more erotic and twisted with each new idea.
His team is happy to indulge him.

Summary
After a mission goes wrong the team is left with some mild injuries. Soap, in an effort to avoid having to go on leave, hides his own injury. Price, Gaz and Ghost end up going on leave so that they can rest and heal, reluctantly leaving Soap behind at the base since he had no reason to leave. Things for Soap go downhill from there and the rest of the team is not happy about it.

He glances down just as the cabin lights shift, flicking bright white as the pilot flips the switches for disembark. Soap blinks, eyes adjusting to the brightness as the red gloom recedes just enough for him to see it.
Blood.
Everywhere.
There’s a pool of red beneath the jump seat where he’d been sitting, and a trail leading across the floor to where he’s standing right now.
“What the fuck—” Soap’s hand flies to his back, clumsy, and comes away dripping crimson.
His head swims. For a second he doesn’t comprehend it. He remembers the hits—two shots to his back, hard enough to knock the wind out of him—but the vest caught them. Didn’t it? His lower back is numb, nothing but strange building pressure, but the blood keeps coming, hot and steady.
He was shot. And he didn’t even feel it.-or- Desperate to prove he's worthy of the 141 (and Ghost), Soap overdoses on stims had has a bad time of it.
