Summary
Keeping everyone away had worked to have the few people that remained out of harms way, but for the demon that guided Dante to Mallet Island harm wouldn't come as easily. Having Trish much closer to him than anyone had been in years weighs heavily on Dante, as some shadows from the past come to haunt them and make hell break lose.
There's too many things to learn of humanity, and how painful memories can be is just one of them.

While exploring the place a strange maid found, offering a fireplace along with the story of the people that once lived here– in particular a young man, the young lady of the house, and a girl, and how all of them disappeared along with everyone else in the manor.

Summary
Raiden wakes up in the middle of the night, finding himself stranded somewhere in Auckland, New Zealand and a part of his memory is missing. As he returns to his family, he is promptly kicked out by Rose and is told to never come back again. Confused and hurt, he returns to Maverick in the US, as he has nowhere else to go.
To his surprise, he runs into his former enemy and now ally (?) Samuel Rodrigues - Jetstream Sam there and is told that Sam is basically replacing him at his old job.With a completely messed up memory, Raiden is trying to hide from everyone that his relationship with Rose is over and that he is all by himself now with no support, trying to eradicate the rest of Desperado and similar PMCs who cause terror all across the globe. He is annoyed but also confused as to why of all people, Sam is trying to stay by his side and help him.
Sam figures out that something is seriously wrong with Raiden and tries to make him aware of what's going on, but Raiden doesn't want to hear it.
Not until Sam becomes an important part of his life and it becomes unthinkable of them ever being separate again, despite all of Raiden's issues that make their relationship rather difficult.Series
