It wasn't… wasn't the same as it had been in Logan's universe. He wasn't. He wasn't drowning the same. He kept sober when he needed to. They just all liked to blow off some steam, and they all had a lot of shit to blow off. It was fine.
It was fine, what Wade wanted from Logan, really. What he did when he helped Logan. The way he touched him. He helped Logan, so Logan helped him. Or let him help himself. Whatever. That was how friendships worked. It had been a long time since Logan had a friend, a real friend, one who picked him up and thought every part of him was good. He wasn't going to lose it by being selfish. Taking more from Wade than he gave.
