And then… you can pull your own pants down to save him the trouble.”
Alan swallowed hard and cautiously stepped in, sitting down beside him. He glanced at the piano and said:

Calluses lined his fingers, old scars fading into more recent grime. The fish bandaid pummelled his eyes with punches dressed in violent shades of yellow he thought were a crime against humanity. He never really left bandaids on for more than 30 minutes, tops, but this one infuriated and prodded his very soul in a way that urged him to practice.
