Buttercup was having a fantastic month—the best month of her life, actually—since her family’s farm boy had recently caught her fancy. What a great way to have light hearted, stable centric, in-no-way-marriage-related fun! However, when the month ended and she still hadn’t bled, Buttercup realized that flights of fancies have consequences. Which were all obviously Farm Boy’s fault, somehow.

And as she begins the worst month of her life, struggling through pregnancy and its secrecy, Buttercup starts to realize that what she feels for Westley isn’t light hearted at all.
