Summary
Fact 1: Gaara had agreed to a date—and Naruto made sure he understood it was a real date. The kind with just the two of them, no siblings, and no overly enthusiastic friends who would jabber on about the joys of youth.
Fact 2: Friday, Konoha Mountain Villa, 6 p.m. Right place, almost the right time. He was ten minutes early, and that was before factoring in that he’d been standing here in front of the hotel’s sign for fifteen minutes already.
Everything would turn out alright. Gaara wasn’t going to bite. Probably.

The council sent alphas to Gaara's room when he was in heat. Some smelled okay, some scents were rather neutral and some men he never wanted to see again. They were either too rough, brutish or crass, but he doesn’t get to choose them. The elders did. They always have.
Gaara wonders where they even get these alphas from, and why there are always so many. He asks before one of his heats, seated on the bed of his nesting chambers. The elder simply looks at him and answers, though it’s not what Gaara expects her to tell him.

Temari stares at the lecherous grin that appears on Naruto’s face and releases him, backing away. “Okay… I don’t want to know.”
