Summary
Neither Clorinde or Lady Furina were known for being open to others. Clorinde had lost all who she could trust in one fell swoop long ago, and Furina seemed to live in fear of expressing how she truly felt.
…And yet, here they are, finding comfort in one another under the moonlight time and again in some odd twist of fate, someone they could trust, perhaps even… A friend? Perhaps more?
Time will stand still to tell the tale when the curtain falls.(Or, three times Clorinde found her Archon crying all alone, and the one time Furina found her loyal knight crying instead.)

Summary
Furina de Fontaine holds the sword up to match her surprised opponent’s stance; judging by the bewildered expressions all around, this is not an outcome they anticipated.
Good, she is nothing if not amazing at destroying other people’s script and rewriting her own lines.
Her champion’s serious expression falters for a moment into one of worry; a less observant person would have missed it. The two outlanders behind her each gasp with surprise, and even her oh so dear Iudex is speechless at her choice of action.

Summary
For Freminet, taking the brunt of what he thought was an acid attack aimed towards Spina di Rosula's boss was nothing more than a split second decision. He wouldn't call himself a hero by any stretch of the imagination, and he wouldn't say he led his life with noble and virtuous intentions either...
...but when the urge to help someone comes to him, he ponders little over it. That's just what a good person would do, and Freminet desperately wants to be a good.
(Still, maybe he should have paid more attention to just what was being splashed.)

Freminet dissolves into water. That really should have been the end of it, but it seems like the ocean wasn't keen on letting him go yet.
