Summary
After their dad abandons the family and their mom is killed in a car crash, fourteen year old Chris is essentially orphaned and put into the custody of his twenty-two year old brother, who has become more and more estranged from them since leaving home. Martin, his head spinning with grief and guilt from knowing now that the estrangement can never be reconciled, has to collect the little brother he’s barely seen in four years, who has turned into an angsty, wayward, heroin-addicted teenager freshly raw with his own grief.

Summary
Izuku Midoriya’s father never quite learnt to accept his son’s quirklessness. That was one of the many harsh truths he had to learn at the ripe age of four, right after getting his diagnosis. He was reminded of it when his father tricked his mother into sending him to live abroad. He was well aware of it through the 6-year-long hell that was their stay together. However, he would never have guessed how far his father was willing to go in order to fix this issue.

Izuku is forced to run away from his father’s care and decides to make himself useful by becoming a vigilante.
