Summary
Tommy pulls his knees up to his chest, wrapping his arms around them as he rocks himself on the bench. There's people out here, talking in soft, hushed voices but they don't look his way. If they do, they ignore the tears running down his cheeks and the snotty, disgusting sniffles he creates. They don't pay mind to his short, panicked breaths or the way he tucks his head in between his knees and chest.
'Stop, please stop!' He thinks. He was enjoying himself so much just moments before, why can't this tight, nauseating feeling just stop?
(Why can't he have someone there holding his hand and whispering soft words to calm him down?)

"Let me go," Tommy choked out. "Let me go you sick fucks!"
A hand landed in his hair, playing with his golden curls, a rumbling close to his ear. The Blood God was so close, so close, so close, too close.
The Angel of Death crouched down in front of him, a concerned look in his stormy ocean eyes. He smiled softly at Tommy like he was the most precious thing in the world, and the boy couldn't even stop the warm feeling curling in his gut.
The man's taloned hands reached forward, gripping Tommy's chin between them and making blue eyes meet blue. "We can't," he murmured, like one would coax an injured animal. "No one's taking care of you, dove, not even yourself. You're here now, though. We'll take care of you."

Tommy stared, mouth feeling terribly dry as he struggled to speak. Then he whispered, voice horrendously cracked, “What the fuck.”
The words seemed to spring things into action as the beast stood, large and monstrous and shadowing the blonde’s lanky form. Tommy took a few speedy steps backward before his back hit against a cold stone wall, the pink-haired monster coming closer with each step being purposeful. As he paused in front of Tommy, he reached out, resulting in the other to squeeze his eyes shut as tightly as possible, bracing for a slash.
It never happened.
Instead clawed fingers gently brushed through his golden locks and then-
“Gold.”

OR Tommy runs away from Dream and Technoblade ends up saving him and taking him as his adoptive brother.

Summary
The egg shudders. The oddest fry that Philza has seen in his life bursts through. Easily ten times bigger than any that hatched in his pod, it doesn't have any scales, and is missing an entire set of fins. Those that it does have are sharp and hard, nothing like Philza's own.
But none of that matters the moment that he looks in the hatchling’s eyes. For the first time in forever there is something else in his heart but a gaping hole. It's like he wakes up from an unending nightmare and sees in aching clarity what he has known since he found the egg abandoned to the ocean’s mercy, much like he was.
This is his fry. His son.
