It's been five years since the end of the war and Adora's never been happier. She's married to the love of her life, she's surrounded by friends, and she and Catra are about to become parents. Nothing could go wrong, but after much deliberation, and many years of planning, it's decided that the time has come to try and rescue Angella from the world in between realities. But, nothing ever goes according to plan, and rather than rescuing Angella they manage to lose Adora to an alternate universe. When Adora wakes up alone and in her old bed, she knows something is wrong. When she can't find her wife she knows it's incredibly wrong. Where is Catra? Why does no one know where Catra is?
It's been about six and a half years since the end of the war - since Catra let Adora go in the Crimson Waste and the Horde fell apart in her absence. The classroom is bright and colorful, the walls covered in color pencil and crayon drawings presumably done by kindergarten students. The bulletin boards are decorated with dorky and encouraging messages. On one of them, there’s a big cutout of a cartoon honeybee with a speech bubble telling her to ‘BEE Positive!’ She would’ve gagged at the sight when she was a kid.
But her child isn’t her. They’re their own person. She feels their hand tense up in hers and gives it an affirming squeeze. ‘I think you’re really gonna like it here,’ she wants to tell them.
That’s when she sees her.
Behind the teacher’s desk in all her glory, sits Adora fucking Grayskull.
“Hi,” says Catra’s ex-girlfriend with a big smile plastered across her flawless face. “You must be Finn’s mom.”

What if instead of Glimmer, it's Adora and Catra that are captured by Horde Prime?
Both Catra and Adora are at their darkest hour yet. This fic will explore their feelings towards each other and themselves.
Starts at the end of S4 and develops into the events of S5. Basically Season 5 but darker.-
“Adora, what do you want?" It comes out stronger than she was expecting “You fucking won. Just go.”
“I can’t just leave you here." says Adora and Catra snorts at that.
“Trust me, princess. It wouldn’t be the first time." Catra laughs but it’s lacking it's punch. Lifeless even to her own ears.
“Catra, please just...” Adora sighs loudly in frustration before crouching down to be on the same eye level as Catra, stretching her arm towards the girl sitting in front of her. The blonde’s hand was shaking and Adora just didn’t have enough strength to hide it
