Summary
Peter hadn’t been walking for long when he realised that he no longer had someone tailing him. He was grateful for this.
As much as he appreciated the concern expressed by this unknown vigilante (puddle guy), Peter needed somewhere he could collect his thoughts.

Where could he go, in a city that he doesn’t know, to find information that he doesn’t know exists?

After they wake up, they only talk to each other about the dream once.

“I, uh, saw Lois. What did you see?”
“My parents.”
It was a lie, or an omission of the truth, but a necessary one. They could never let anyone know what actually happened in the dream, especially not each other.Or: Clark and Bruce dream of each other in a Black Mercy dream, and don't realize the other dreamed the exact same thing. Cue excessive pining.

Summary
Kryptonians are not human. It’s easy to forget, even for Clark. That being an alien means more than his powers. There are traits rooted into the DNA, coming out in the subconscious, until not even Clark notices. Kryptonians, among other things, build Bowers for their mates, beautiful homes to settle into. It’s more than a tradition, it’s a way of life.
