Summary
This is a prequel to my love in different fonts - you do NOT need to have read/finished that to read this. It can stand alone as a short story about Jinshi & Maomao’s engagement (but you should read it, because I think it will make this more fun.)
OR
Jinshi’s wanted to marry her for a long time. Maomao has finally come around. They’re both eager to build a life together … and maybe also to get to their wedding night and swap virginities.
Too bad they have to wait another six months for a particularly auspicious date to do so!

Summary
It has been a few weeks since Jinshi and Maomao have last seen each other. There had been a demanding issue that the Emperor needed Jinshi's attendance on and it had taken longer to sort out than expected. Finally free of his obligation, Jinshi planned to visit Maomao in the apothecary shop beside the Verdigris house.
Of course he should have known nothing would go as planned. He found Maomao shivering on the floor, having experimented with poison again. In the attempt of first-aid things take a wilder turn and Jinshi couldn't resist himself.

The Kingdom of Endeavor was located in the heart of the country Yuuei. It wasn’t the oldest kingdom in the country, but it was definitely the biggest and most sought after. Endeavor has been known for a great number of things: for their opportunities given to any class, for their fashion statements, for their armies, for their cuisines, etc.. For the past couple of years though, there has been one specific thing that has attracted so many bodies to the kingdom that no one could even walk down a street without getting bumped into. There were visitors from far and wide hoping for a chance to get a look, or even a peek, at the most beautiful omega in the world.
The Queen of Endeavor.
To be able to see the queen was the most sought out thing in all of Endeavor. Even all of the employees who worked inside of the castle itself had no clue on what they might look like. The only person who seemed to know was the king himself…
And he had no intention of ever letting anyone know.

Shouto is satisfied with his life. He doesn't think most people in the world can say that. He doesn't consider himself a greedy person. He has a place to call home and a career doing what he loves, being a hero. He doesn't think most people can say that either. He isn't sure if he's happy because happiness and him have a complicated relationship, but he's definitely satisfied. He's content.
At least...he thought he was, but the sudden appearance of a young omega mother and his three year old son has Shouto thinking and wanting things that he never thought of or wanted before. This isn't like him, but Shouto can't get them out of his mind and it appears he can't stop running into them either.
Shouto is perfectly satisfied with his current life. He's never wanted anything more out of it...but is it too late to start?

Todoroki Shouto is the number three hero in Japan, he’s loved by all mostly because of his sweet yet stoic attitude and his beauty. At least that’s until a lawsuit gets dropped on his lap, something about repeated destruction of property and loss of business? He didn’t really remember. But either way, Bakugou (the co-owner of Todoroki Hero Agency) isn’t very happy about it and wants him to talk to the plaintiff and try to smooth things over; for the sake of their agency and for the sake of Todoroki’s image.
Midoriya Izuku owns a small café named “The Green Rose” along the outskirts of Tokyo. He completed high school in the support course at UA, graduated at the top of his class, literally tied with Hatsume Mei, but a year after graduation, an accident in the lab left him unable to do detail work, so he retired to instead open a cafe. Now, his café is up and running, it’s pretty popular too, at least it would be if a certain Half n’Half hero didn’t keep icing it over or wrecking it every other week.

He has hope in a world where it seems like it is hopeless to continue on. He might go to a school that is way too prestigious for him to go to, he might not have any friends at this school and be completely and utterly alone, he might even be bullied on a daily basis by those he once considered friends a long, long time ago, and sure, he might have a secret that he can't afford to tell anyone or else it will ruin his entire life, but...but each morning Izuku is able to wake up with a smile on his face and hope for a better day.
