Summary
One of the first lessons Glimmer ever learnt was that soulmates always end up together.
She's heard of the stories where soul mates get tired of searching for their other half and pursue other crushes, but even those have ended with one, or both, of them finding their soul mates in the end. There are also the stories of soul mates who meet and decide they’re just platonic... only to fall in love later down the line. The point is that soul mates always have their happily ever after. She's never heard a story that would tell her otherwise.
And that's why, as Glimmer looks at Bow lying in her bed, she knows there's no way they end up together.
