    “Hmm?”
    “Could you–” How would he even ask the question out loud?
    “Could I do what?”
    Will took in a shaking breath, looked down to Mike’s lips and up to his eyes again. “Mike could you… could you maybe kiss me?” Then suddenly panic moved through him and he turned away. Why did I ask that? Oh god. He will push me away. “I– It wouldn’t mean anything.” He added quickly. “I just– You don’t have to do it. I’m sorry.”
    “Oh.” Was Mike’s only answer for a few ever longer stretching seconds. “I mean if you want to.”

    Defeated from a horrible date, Will is desperate to know what it feels like to be loved. In a hopeless moment he asks Mike to kiss him.
