Summary
Once she was certain there was nothing else to throw up, she stood on shaking legs to survey the area around her. Her lightsaber was sprawled a few feet away from where she had woken up and she headed towards it, cautiously. She had been in a war zone just a moment ago, but the place around her was peacefully quiet. The birds were chirping and the sound of a stream bubbling nearby shocked her more than it probably should have. She hadn’t seen a place so at peace since she was a child, perhaps longer still. She considered this as she holstered her saber into its carrier. This was not where she had been before, the surroundings unfamiliar in a way that threw her for a loop. The trees weren’t right, the wrong shades of green and the land lacked the sands she had begun to get used to after so many planet side trips that ended with nothing but mesas and plateaus. Wherever this place was, it wasn’t a place she’d been before.

Summary
“Can I help you?” The main leader asked, her tone sharp and disbelieving. Saiki couldn’t remember her name, even after a week of harassment on her end. Something with an m, he was pretty certain. Maiko? Mariko?
“Yes, actually, you can.” Teru snapped out, voice taking an edge that she rarely allowed herself to have with others. “You can explain to me why you are crowding my boyfriend at his desk. It looked like you weren’t letting him leave.” Saiki perked up with mild disbelief at her phrasing but stayed silent.
All three women paled, Mariko glanced back at the other two for support who looked off and away from her to fend for herself. So much for loyalty, Saiki thought to himself. The main offender curled into herself, fidgeting with her hands in a way that reminded Saiki of a young school child being caught vandalizing school property.
“I-I didn’t realize he was taken, I’m so sorry.” She stuttered out, sounding put-off at the idea of losing. Saiki wasn’t sure if he was more upset at the fact that this was all it took to get them to back off or that this was what it took for her to actually leave him alone despite his disinterest.

Summary
'Iruka snorted at his response and continued with his task. He realized he’d have to put the bowl down if he wanted to prep the piping bags properly, and he flicked his eyes back towards Kakashi. He had already started to get up slowly, more stretching than anything and Iruka had to avert his eyes away as he felt a rushing heat flood his face. He put his entire focus onto the task at hand and chose to ignore the grunt of effort as the man behind him popped his back, only pausing for a moment to place his hand on the rim of the bowl, warily watching Kakashi’s movements as he passed by him. He released a sigh of relief when the other ninja made no move to grab more frosting and simply walked away towards the door leading into the front, likely checking on the register and displays before they opened fully.
It was as he went to put the first batch of frosting inside the bags that he noticed that the bowl had been swapped for another, this one filled with pure granulated sugar. He stared at it for a moment, his spatula sunk a bit into the pile of white from where he’s tried to dip into it.
“What…” He asked out loud, his eye twitching as he felt his blood pressure rising in stress. This motherfucker. “KAKASHI!” '

Summary
Malevola has him pinned against her side, hanging onto him like she’s afraid he’s going to get swallowed by the drunken crowd. Sonar is on her other side, ears glowing faintly with the strobe lights as he knocks into her repeatedly.
Visi swings by, wipes the corner of his mouth, then disappears. Hot hands find his head a second- seconds? minutes? later. The flash of orange and black coming closer has him swaying dangerously to catch whatever Flambae starts to mutter against his ear. Something about shitty music?
Coop saunters past with a glint of metal, prying the empty tumbler from his hand. Punch Up appears with a full one to replace it. It makes his face flush when he takes a swig.
“Yo! Anyone seen Golem?” Prism pushes through. She’s got Waterboy by the wrist; She might be about to use him to purposely slip people and get them out of her way. Phenomaman is floating after them.
Visi comes back again, this time with Blazer holding on for dear life. They’re hugging like it’s the end of the world instead of just being drunk in a shitty bar. Blazer smiles, dimples showing. His vision swims.
The whiskey burns. So does the ache in his chest.

Giyuu finds himself conflicted in this very moment, wondering what in the timeline is at stake should he strike, because the annals of history are so easily altered that Sabito is standing next to him today (his own sword unsheathed and one of his hands tugging at Giyuu’s arms so hard his fingernails are digging divots into his skin.)
He worries at his bottom lip, and registers the movement of the Lower Moon, who rudely has not waited for him to finish his rumination and was unleashing a demon blood art, whose exact skillset he does not remember but reacts to on instinct.
Giyuu is struck by immense Deja Vu as he decapitates the demon once more.Tomioka Giyuu has no intention of becoming the Water Hashira again in this bright new world where Sabito is alive.
Sabito takes in a deep breath. “WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT?!?!”
But really, old habits don't seem to die (even when he already did).
