The strangest thing about the two Professors is that no one knows if they’re married or dating or in a situationship, or if one person’s in love with another, or if there are skeletons in their closets or anything. They never appear in the background of each other’s video’s when they have their weekly remote class, and they’ve never appeared in each other’s office. The only hint they've even had that something is going on is when Robin has muttered something about being Professor Buckley only because she was a Buckley when she earned it—and not a Harrington.

Eddie accidentally comes out to Robin and Steve without even thinking about it, he doesn't get the reaction he expected.
And apparently because he’s a fucking idiot he says, “I thought being gay was going to be the worst part of my life and then bam fucking aliens.”
Robin sits up so fast she almost bangs her head on Steve’s chin, who is still straddling her lap and like, what wouldn’t Eddie give to be Robin right now and shit now his brain is catching up with his mouth and why did he say that and why won’t Robin and Steve stop staring at him like that, oh shit. “You’re gay too?” says Robin and that sort of wipes Eddie’s brain clean and white and static.

Robin’s eyes glisten with tears; those already shed create silver tracks on her cheeks that shimmer in a way that makes Nancy want to take Robin in her arms for the rest of eternity, to hold her until the world ends or else swallows them whole. Her lower lip trembles as she gazes down at Nancy like she’s begging, pleading with her to make it stop, make it go away, make it better.
Nancy brings her hands up slowly. Gives Robin the chance to pull away, if that’s what she needs. But Robin leans into her touch the second Nancy’s palms cup her face, desperate and in need of comfort. It makes Nancy want to sob herself.
How dare they do this to you, she thinks. My beautiful, genius girl. How dare they make you feel small.

Summary
Robin was considering buying a “No one knows I’m a lesbian” shirt. No matter how many men she told she wasn’t interested, there would inevitably be more at the bars she frequented, asking to buy her a drink, winking conspiratorially, sliding a hand over her arm.
Actually, one slight addendum. No one would dare approach her like that when she was out with Steve.
So, Robin proposed her plan to Steve. He would be her beard around her campus, and she would turn a blind eye to the predictably endless stream of babes cycling through the apartment for Steve. Steve had raised an eyebrow at the plan, but agreed nonetheless. Success.

Robin and Steve working through the events of season four shortly after it happened and contemplating their friendship and love for each other. It's really just a closer look into their relationship and platonic relationships as a whole. Because I think meaningful platonic male/ female relationships are so important and so underrepresented.
(Also yes, the title is from a Mitski song)
