Summary
In the last throes of the war, Urahara Kisuke realizes that Grimmjow is dying. In order to save the Arrancar, he does something drastic, with long-reaching consequences that not even he can predict.
Alive but bound irrevocably to a human form, Grimmjow is forced to come to terms with a new world and his place in it, and in the process finds himself growing closer to both this world and the people in it.
Trying to strike a balance between his human life and his bonds to Shinigami and Hollow, Ichigo must decide where his future leads, and who he wants to share it with.
Struggling to keep an impartial distance as he tries to make up for past mistakes, Kisuke must confront his own growing attachments, and decide what he ultimately wants.
