Pomni stepped into the room just a little, leaning her weight back against the door. She thought about toying with him a little, but at the end of the day, she really just wanted to get down to it. Pressing her lips together, she glanced quickly around the hall, watchful for familiar faces that actually might question her if they saw who she was talking to.
When she felt the coast was sufficiently clear, she turned back to him. “What are you doing after work?”
Jax only stared at her for a beat or two, his eyes a touch wider than they had been a moment ago. He seemed surprised to hear her be so forward—an unintended effect, but not an unwelcome one.
At length, though, he smirked. “You tell me.”

I'm going to count this my first read into AO3. I have read like two before long ago but I never really saw the appeal of fanfics, not until this masterpiece! I saw so enthralled in the writing! It has made me read so much I never thought I could! I always struggled with reading but this is the first hook that got me so into it. I had to look up some words before, but now It's getting easier to read, smoothly. I love rereading this fic.
I first saw a post of quiveringpalm on my timeline stating this was their best work written so far, and I said "bet", and my god I love their writing! I read more of theirs afterwards. Haven't read all yet cause my god I love savoring the words.
Thank you soo much! This fic will always be in a special place in my heart for pushing me to read more fanfiction. (Like I was reading generally before, two books, but yeah this takes the whole cake).
In this I love Jax's and Pomni's back and forth. I've only smoked once on my 24th birthday and surprisingly it was pretty smooth for me for a first, I reminisce the feelings described here. This makes want to partake a bit cause it makes is so sexy (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡ God I love furry Jax fics too because of this. I love Pomni's careful pov here. I love the care Jax gives her, he's careful and paciente, but also taken aback by her character, he fell for her even more. I love this.

God I'm on chapter 5 and it was so silly seeing Jax fuck up his escape.
Chapter 4 was my fave with Jax's tail giving him away to Pomni. It was really funny. I oddly hope to see a funny contraste of Pomni's work life versus her hobby. I'm projecting with carrion comfort (Work) by meltsbutter, I miss that fic. It was my first ever in reading ghoulish bloody subject matter.

Since the Pomni POV I felt really sick, a new sense ugh.
