As the green light rings out the dirt drifts between deft fingers, earth weighed up in the palm like a considering divination. Pebbles roll over fingertips, and in a final decision, slip into an abyss of cotton to be buried.

Player 088 San Nilar follows a doctrine of three: protect her brother, die here over living out there, and never turning back. Simple, unattached, and focused.
Safe to say, she did not account for 001 either, nor just how deeply he'd want to sink his hooks into her.

Johnny Storm didn't either, but he knew he couldn't let her go. So, he offered his own planet, his own home and family, for her to take part in. No questions asked. No hesitation.
And as a sailor with no stars to sail over, she said yes.
Lesta'ri had been Galactus' herald for centuries. Now, she had centuries to try to remember what she abandoned in exchange. The identity that trailed behind her like a shadow. The family that hid in the corners of her mind. The mere action of feeling something.
Johnny wasn't known for his patience, but strangely, he could be with the strange alien that lunged in his room almost everyday.

Eight had said things would get easier outside on their own, no longer constricted by the rules within the white walls and rainbow room.
She always said she was there to protect her brother, the younger, more shy version of her. And yet here she was, running while he slept, safe and sound behind those white walls.
Eight took on the name Kali, and she took on the name Kim. The two were inseparable, until they weren’t. Eleven came along, and everything was turned in on itself. Murder wasn’t something they had to do, and Kim had options outside of what Kali offered.
