He nearly jumped out of bed when two solid hands held him down.
“It’s just me, Mr. Joo.” A voice sighed.
His eyes took longer to adjust than usual, but eventually he saw soft brown hair and gentle eyes.
“Kim Dan?” He blurted, sounding embarrassingly stuffy. “What the hell are you doing in my room?” It took him a second to register that Dan was holding a bowl of water and a very wet cloth.
“I…I-I came to check on you,” Dan said.
“Why?”
He could see Dan shrug in the dark. “You never get sick…so I was a bit worried.”
