“Thank you, it was something I’ve been wanting to try.” Seungmin answers almost too carefully.
“Do you wanna join me?” He asks when he sees Seungmin head for the door.
“I- uhh maybe not today. I’m still super sleepy.” Again, using carefully chosen words. Changbin has noticed the way Seungmin speaks to him nowadays, and he can’t help feeling a heavy sense of concern at the way Seungmin rarely smiles or wants Changbin’s touches when the man is around.

A notification chirped out of Seungmin's phone.
Changbin had sent a mirror selfie from his bathroom, standing right under the gleaming white lights, in his sportswear—faint smile on display. The sink he was pressing his weight against was covering his lower body, and his black cap was casting a shadow over his eyes and forehead.
Changbin sending that image on a random evening and continuing the conversation over text meant something… Seungmin wanted to find out, despite his drowsiness. Despite knowing he was about to lose some much needed sleep.

“So, pitcher to pitcher, how do you say you should stretch? Like this-” he took Seungmin’s arm, twisting it slightly back. It felt kind of good, until Seungmin pulled it back.
She glared at him, holding her arm. “Don’t fucking touch me,” she hissed, and started to stretch out her leg, giving her an excuse to look down.
Minho chuckled, something smug, and said, “Okay, okay, princess. Wasn’t going to go that far, unless you wanted to-ouch!” Seungmin swiftly kicked him in the shin, meeting his gaze.
“Fucking pervert,” she muttered, as he stepped back.
