Summary
When Rachel Amber is trying to figure her life anew after fighting with her drug addiction and rejection from her family, she discovers another secret, this time changing her life forever. Dealing with the consequences of cheating, depression and a drastic past, she and Chloe put their life back on track and work on their relationship, paying back for their own mistakes and saving whatever was left from the bits and pieces. Tangled between the net of social and personal dependences the couple fights for their future, ditching the past, but it’s not easy to leave everything behind nor build something from the ashes. The price of a game changer is high, and trailblazing an entirely new path is more laborious than following their supposed fate blindly.
The story takes place directly after the short story “The Talk That Never Happened” and is the direct continuation of it. It includes explicit, although not vulgar, sex scenes, graphic violence, and vocabulary, as presented in the games and tackles the topic of verbal, emotional and sexual abuse. It also follows canon to a certain extent, consequently referring to both “Life is Strange” and “Before the Storm.”

“You…gonna light up, or what?” Rachel posits, leaning forward. It takes Chloe too long to think that she’s being far too casual about all of this.
Surprised, shocked, and a little confused, Chloe blinks down towards the joint in her hand before lifting it to her lips and digging in her back pocket for her lighter. “Sorry, I guess I’m just a bit…”
“Surprised? Shocked?” Rachel’s smirk tilts. “A little confused?”
Chloe lets out a huff of laughter around her joint. “Yeah, literally exactly that. How long have you been…you know…?”
Rachel shrugs with an all-too casual roll of her shoulders. “Transgender?”

Summary
Camille Sife. A simple human. Bookkeeper by day. Vampire Hunter by night. She did not particularly want to become a hunter for the Vampire Extermination Society (VES), but she needed the money. They paid well, and her younger brother, Israel Sife, was sick with an unknown blood disease. Their parents? Dead. It was up to Camille to pay the medical bills, even if that meant killing vamps.
Victoria MaLiren. A simple seeming vampire. She ran from her home, seeking to escape her father's intentions of making her the new leader of his business. She wants freedom, or at least, a choice. She has nothing against humans, really, but weeks in the forest does lead to starvation. She's on her own and needs blood soon.
What happens when the two meet under tense circumstances? It's the middle of a war between humans and vampires, the most common and populated of species on earth. Though neither women saw themselves as warriors on the frontlines.
