Viktor is the target of a lot of kidnappings. Luckily he has a partner who won't stop at anything to get him back.
The door blasted into the room, and the silhouette of a giant hammer wielding hero filled the frame.
“Am I interrupting?” said Jayce grinning, tossing his hair out of his face as the dust settled.
Viktor rolled his eyes. “Took you long enough, Jayce.”
Or: Five times Viktor was kidnapped and Jayce saved him with all of his various skills, and one time when Jayce is kidnapped and Viktor saves him (with an extreme show of violence)

He loosens a blast at the chrysalis, letting in more light into the space. The pieces hum and hover around them like the destroyed pieces of a shattered star.
“Jayce, you need to leave—”

After the explosive events at his commune, Viktor is captured and taken prisoner by Noxus. Revived by Apex Shimmer, subjugated to experimentation and torture, Viktor is used to develop their weapons via his link to the arcane.
Jayce finds out but is faced with a choice: to finish what he started or to find a new recourse. No matter what he chooses, Viktor is always at the center of it all.

Summary
He had gone from toiling as an assistant to teaching first year classes and filling in for the more senior professors when the occasion arose. It was boring. Biology was not even his field of study. Not that he had an official field of study, unless memorizing Heimerdinger’s insane organizational system, a thing built over centuries, counted. His life was a monotony quickly slipping through his fingers. His leg and back were failing. He felt old before his time and there was the ever-ticking clock hanging over his head.
There had been a promise of something more, once. An explosion. A journal that was meant to be destroyed. A theory so insane it barely made sense until you looked closer and realized that the science was sound. However, it was not to be. A child had died.Instead of forgetting Viktor exists, Heimerdinger seeks him out when he, Ekko, and Powder hit a snag with their Hextech research. It doesn't take long to realize that they need a fifth great mind and Viktor goes to find Jayce while the timeline starts to shatter.

When Viktor wakes up after the explosion, he first stays and tries to reform Piltover from within. Then Ekko returns from the alternate timeline early and teams up with Jinx to lead Zaun's revolution.
S2 rewrite, because I really wanted to see a proper Zaun vs Piltover civil war

Even if it means traveling to worlds unknown, risking his life at the hands of another universe's Undercity, and coming to terms with the fact that his partner might be running out of time.

Summary
Viktor feels himself nearing the precipice of something unknown, this zenith of pleasure that he had never reached. It was as if he was clawing his way up to an apex of satisfaction, and he had always chased this high. He had never come so close though, and Jayce was about to be his breakthrough.
Viktor concluded that he no longer craved a breakthrough in his research. Instead, he craved this breakthrough in immense pleasure. He craved the sweet release that Jayce would bring him, pushing him over the edge of no return.
And Gods, he wants so badly to fall over that edge. Oh, how he wanted to get lost in this feeling.
