Summary
When Carter Kane left on a simple retrieval mission, he didn't expect it to go horribly wrong. Nor did he expect to meet a son of Poseidon and learn about a whole other world of monsters and gods he never knew existed. What he DOES know, is that someone's trying to destroy the world. Again. And it's up to him, Sadie, and his new friends to stop it. Just another day for the Kanes.

She and her sort-of boyfriend had been in something of a holding pattern for the last month. Except…minus the holding. Or anything else, except lots of anvil-sized hints on both of their parts that never seemed to lead to either of them doing anything.

Summary
No one knew how it happened, but out of the blue, Gods began disappearing.
The prayers of mortals and demigods went unanswered for a while, until they try to discover the cause, of what had made the gods go silent (again), and if they can... they could try to fix it.The Underworld is in shambles, and the dead may or may not escape and haunt those who'd done them wrong... and those who'd fought bravely on their lives in a futile attempt to prevent another life from being taken.
The Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Norse universes are in danger, and the heroes have no guidance from the missing gods.
They may get them back. May not. But first, the Lord of the Underworld has to go.

"All I knew that it didn't fit the vending machines in the school cafeteria." -Percy Jackson: The Last Olympian
Inspired by this quote about Percy's sand dollar. How exactly did Percy know this? Did he just judge the size like a normal person? Or did he act like a seaweed brain and actually try to fit it into the machine.
Was there someone watching and wondering what exactly is this idiot thinking?
Yes to all of these questions.

Summary
“That was one time,” Lute muttered.
Adam’s smirk was immediate. “She started it.”
“I finished it,” Lute shot back.
Gabriel’s smile was patient, indulgent. “Yes. You finish each other’s sentences, too. How efficient.”
They both went still. Lute’s wings twitched. Adam’s hand froze halfway to his cup. “Uh—” Adam started.
Gabriel sipped his tea. “So, when’s the wedding?”
『••✎••』
Gabriel invites them both for tea “to discuss patrol schedules.” Halfway through, Gabriel goes, “So when’s the wedding?” Adam chokes on his drink; Lute drops her teacup. Gabriel calmly continues sipping. “I’ll take that as ‘undecided.’”
