Summary
Cypher and Omen are sent to Las Vegas for a mundane mission in espionage. Along the way, Omen discovers the less-than-savory methods of information brokering and its toll on the Sentinel, and tries to help him cope. Cypher dispels the walls the ghost has always imagined between himself and the rest of humanity, and encourages him to receive the intimacy and love he deserves.

Cypher knows everything about everyone. Almost.
There's one person he's found nothing on, Omen, nothing on the files, nothing on the database. Cypher is about to give up, until he finds a new way to get information, actually interacting with Omen.Except everything he finds makes him fonder of the shadow.
Maybe this wasn't a good idea after all.

Summary
To be Omen was to tear and to maim, to destroy everything in his path in a selfish journey to regain what he'd lost in humanity.
He supposed this was part of it, using Cypher to feel human pleasure again. But they never did anything close to maiming and destroying when they were together.
or: Omen gets frustrated after a mission gone wrong and goes to "let it out" with Cypher.
