Summary
Romeo, formerly The Admin, finds himself reaching into his past in order to help Ivor find Soren in a desperate attempt to redeem himself. Ivor empathizes with being treated as a villain–and surely anyone can change, just like Ivor himself did. But when the group finds the architect, some white (gray-ish) lies and reemerged internal dilemmas has Ivor wondering if he’s even changed in the slightest.
Romeo, despite himself, would much rather everyone just get along, but no one would know better than him that you simply can't help people who don't want to be helped.
Surely this will not lead to a fourth world-ending event.

“Yeah, well,” he looks at an old clock behind Wireface. It’s getting late, and he’d like to sleep before he has to guard the door at night. “You’re free to stay here, if you want. Or not. You don’t know what I’m saying, anyways.”
Wireface nods as if he has any fucking clue what’s going on. It’s cute, in a funny way. “Okay. I’m leaving.” He shortly waves, forcing his gaze off the man and feeling like his feet are made up of ten tons of concrete as he opens the door to go.
“Bahbye!” he hears behind him.

Summary
Chishiya was the reason Arisu even made it through the Queen of Hearts. After braving the Borderlands hand in hand, declining citizenship together, and promising to reunite on the other side, Arisu intended to go through with his and Chishiya’s plans for when they got out–once unrealistic, but now seemingly attainable and right in front of him.
Unfortunately, it was just out of reach; Chishiya suddenly doesn’t feel the same as he used to.
Actually, he’s been pointedly avoiding Arisu ever since they woke up.

- Really short, a little sad. Amazing characterization of Jesse and Lukas, Jesse kind of swears a comedic amount of times (made me laugh a bit) but author prefaced that its a stylistic choice and theyre super nice!! :) love MCSM fics that portray the trauma responses that the characters would realistically have instead of Jesse staying gung ho the entire time
- I'd also like to say that PAMA in MCSM is like, really nerfed true to the summary. That entire plot could have been so much more devastating, and this is an awesome example

- Was really into this one, dont know if ill ever finish it because (SPOILERS) once they get together, it's a little stagnant. But it's like not that bad im just impatient for some reason and tbf this is a long fic!!! sonic characterization was ON TOP rouge was a little. on the nose. she keeps popping up every few seconds to be like oohhh shadow has a crush on you and i know and you donttt and sonic is like deaf to that for some reason and nothing ever comes of it i dont even KNOW how but
anyway loved it still, great experience and AMAZING writing, just got a bit boring for me at the end -

Summary
Mondo still really dislikes Kiyotaka Ishimaru, even as the kid tries his damnedest to tutor Mondo and help him get his grades up. Mondo thought they’d reached a stalemate of sorts. However, when an argument erupts between them, Mondo challenges Ishimaru to the only thing he can prove his sheer will and perseverance through: an endurance contest in the school’s sauna.
Things are revealed about Ishimaru that Mondo never would have guessed to be true, and a newfound camaraderie arises from bonding over their similar (yet still so different) pasts.

4/23/26 - Honestly ishimondo fics are and HAVE been lacking so badly, im really happy with this fic and it sort of brought me back to the writing scene even. super excited for when it updates
(also, the first part of this series is also super good)
