Summary
Michael Shelley was always diligent at showing up for his job. He never took sick days. He never left early or showed up late.
And apparently, even being fed to an incomprehensible entity isn't enough to stop dear Michael from doing his job. Much to the horror of everyone else. The Spiral does not know what a job is. But it has one now.
It also has Gerard Keay. A standoffish and angry man in too much black makeup and patchily dyed hair. Perhaps it's the fact that the man is so heavily tainted by the Fears that keeps The Distortion's interest so vested in Gerry, or maybe it's the fact that Michael's habits are so deeply ingrained into its deformed body and mind that it can't help but seek him out. The Distortion has yet to figure out why. And it's not as if Gerard Keay himself is much assistance. He's too busy trying to wrap his nicotine-addicted brain around the constant FUCKERY he's being subjected to.

Summary
After ramming the sub straight into the Light, Simon wakes up on a strange spaceship with no memory of how he got there. The state of the Hail Mary -spacious, clean, bright and comfortable- can only lead to one conclusion: Simon has somehow been picked up by one of the highest-ranking leaders of the C.O.I.
Luckily, Dr. Grace doesn't seem to recognize him, buying Simon enough time to hatch yet another desperate plan for survival before his identity is discovered. In the meantime, Simon tries his best to stay in the man's good graces (no pun intended), but he's hardly known for his charming personality.
Both of them are in for a bumpy ride.

Ichigo is too tired to think about the consequences of faking a relationship with the guy who starts a fist fight with him behind his apartment at midnight, and somehow, he finds himself standing outside an illegal fight ring Grimmjow calls ‘Hueco Mundo’.
Alternatively: the secret police nicknamed ‘Shinigami’ have been trying to shut down Hueco Mundo for years. They’re close to getting it down for good when one of the Espada - fighters ranked in the top ten - shows up with a new face in tow.
The sixth Espada, Grimmjow, acting friendly with someone they’ve never even heard of - it sparks enough concern when he’s just acting friendly, but then the young man fights Grimmjow to a standstill.
