"...I've killed, Dickie."
He waved that statement away with the bottle. "You're just saying that because you're a manifestation of my subconscious and I've killed."
"Right," Jason said flatly. "How much have you had to drink?"
"Just enough," he said, taking a sip. He didn't want to get too much drunker past this point. Knocking himself unconscious has sounded nice earlier but he wanted to keep this hallucination going now. It was so nice.

He means to turn away after that, let Batman leave his apartment on his own without so much as a word, but when his arm begins to lift, Dick can’t help but watch.
Watch as Batman pulls back the cowl. Watch as Bruce’s face is revealed, grey and sunken and wrong, all wrong, sickly without the flush of fever. His eyes are like fogged glass- he’s reminded, viscerally, of the fresh fish Alfred would have in the kitchen, right before preparing them for dinner.
(Dick has hallucinations. He should probably tell someone.)
