Lan Jingyi takes advantage of a case of mistaken identity to protect Lan Sizhui from the kidnappers who want to ransom him back to his father. That way, Sizhui would be safe, and Hanguan Jun and Senior Wei wouldn't be in danger, because why would they rescue someone insignificant like Lan Jingyi?

Within hours Inosuke became notorious at the Wisteria Orphanage as someone who was violent and should be avoided at all costs. He fights anyone he sees and breaks everything he touches without a second thought. But of course, Tanjiro is determined to become his friend, and it definitely isn't because of the butterflies he gets in his stomach when he sees the other or the way his cheeks heat up at the thought of him.
