“I don’t know. He’s just…” Namjoon trails off, shaking his head.
“I’ve never seen anyone get under your skin like this,” Taehyung points out. “What is it about Min Yoongi?”
If Namjoon knew that, maybe he could get the fuck over it. Maybe it’s Yoongi’s talent, how he looks so effortless owning the stage. Or maybe it’s something else. All Namjoon knows is - “He’s an asshole.”

Summary
Yoongi has a horrible roommate. He's aware this isn't a unique situation, but he'd have been able to deal with his roommate being loud or slow to do dishes. What he couldn't deal with was the sheer disregard for his desire not to have garbage all over the place. It seemed so simple and yet it felt impossible. His roommate was making him feel crazy, but at least he knew that he could always run to Seokjin if he needed to. Seokjin's apartment, his home was always open to him, and Yoongi loved that, just like he loved Seokjin. Not that way though. At least, probably not that way.
Seokjin, for the record, wasn't probably anything. He knew how he felt, always had, just like he knew that he'd always be there for Yoongi no matter what. That was just the way they'd always been and it worked, so why change things now?

“I’m sorry,” Yoongi says again, simple and true. He even tilts his head for a moment, as if he’s genuinely confused. “I don’t recognize you.”
And just like that, Namjoon’s cheeks burn with unhindered mortification.
