The first time Thor sees it, he’s so surprised, he nearly walks into a wall. Looking back on it, he doesn’t know why he’s so shocked. After all, Pepper had spent much of her relationship with Tony calling him a goblin for constantly stealing her clothes. And it’s not like he hadn’t known that Tony loves being comfortable. So he doesn’t know why he’s so shocked to walk into the kitchen that morning to find Tony wearing one of Thor’s sweaters.

Eddie squints at him. It’s not exactly well-lit in here, but he’s still about ninety percent sure that this guy was not with Emilio’s bachelor party when they came in. “Do I know you?”
“Um. No,” the guy says. He’s got wide blue eyes and a nervous smile and a salt-rimmed margarita glass clutched in one large hand. As Eddie watches, he glances over his shoulder, then hunches down like he’s trying to hide. Given the size of him, it’s more ridiculous than effective. “So this is going to sound completely nuts, and I promise I’ll explain, but can I throw this frozen margarita in your face and call you a jerk?”

His mother makes sure there’s always a fresh bouquet of irises in his room—they usually come from her own garden, but he still doesn’t know how she manages to find them even in the middle of winter.
And Steve… Steve gives him daisies.

It feels homey, everyone chattering over each other and filling their plates. She relaxes just a bit, watching Eddie grab the pepper and wordlessly hand it to Buck just as the other man raises his eyes to presumably look for it. Buck smiles softly and takes the shaker, rubbing a subtle thumb on the underside of Eddie’s wrist. Huh.
Is everyone in this firehouse gay?
