Summary
Olly…?" After a long moment of silence, broken only by the sound of their breathing, the white-haired man finally spoke up, fatigued by their recent activities.
Olruggio reached his arm out to grab hold of the blanket, which had been enchanted with a spell designed by the man himself to keep them toasty, regardless of how unforgiving the weather was outside. “Hm?" he replied, sending a rumbling vibration through his chest, which did nothing but urge Qifrey to persist in his requisition.
“Could you…” Qifrey hesitated, sheepish to continue. “Could you say something? I quite enjoy the sound of your voice."
Or
Qifrey finds an unexpected comfort in the low timbre of Olruggio’s voice, asking him to keep talking until sleep claims one of them.

Each chapter is a different slice of life moment from around the atelier. It starts with Agott's arrival and goes post-deforestation. Lots of yearning and then figuring things out between Orufrey and love between everyone as their family grows.

Qifrey meant to say he was fine, that he was just remembering their days as apprentices, that Agott was settling in well, or even that Olly was so good with her.
What he actually said was, “What if she drowns in the bath?”

It's been some time since Qifrey's "curse" has been removed from him. It's hard for him to believe, though. Swears he still feels it writhing inside him. So he still doesn't talk to anyone, still tries to act as he always had, just in the fear that maybe it's not actually gone.
