Both as oblivious as the other about their part-time work, they share an apartment and spend more than half the time desperately trying to hide their super-powered professions from the other. A fic featuring angst, romance, humor and a touch of wit. Not as good as it sounds.

Summary
1920's AU for two French dorks. Enneas Valere is a dock worker who lost his mob leader position due to a mutiny, but was working one day when he saw French entrepreneur Alnair Rynlen on his way to get settled into America. Enneas was immediately head over heels for him, but then realized he didn't stand a chance. Especially now he was living the low life. Eventually he gets the gut to go up and talk to him, and they immediately become friends. The fic takes place not but a few months after Alnair put Enneas in his gang, and is simply a nonsense fic for kicks.
Alnair isn't mine and I probably wrote his personality all wrong.

Enzo Lucelli is just 19 when he's sent down to Grey Hill Correctional Facility for a crime he didn't commit. Covering for Luca Arrigoni, a ruthless murderer and the killer-on-a-leash for Montie Pellio, one of England's top criminal kingpins, Enzo is told to find Danio Giovanetti in prison and ask him for protection. While Montie Pellio works on getting the judge to grant Enzo parole, Danio is less than pleased to be asked to play babysitter to a terrified kid, but agrees thanks to both Montie Pellio's alliance with his own boss and the unspoken guarantee that should any harm come to Enzo, Luca will personally come after him. Enzo's more capable than people give him credit for, though.

Contains two ocean-going fight scenes, one lusus, distressing incidences of clown cultism, his lawyer, and absolutely no interactions with the quinity whatsoever.
