Summary
The Coleman brothers live in a beautiful liberal tourist town on an island in NW Washington state with their single mother. This story takes begins immediately following the eventful 15th birthday of twin brothers Max and Beck.
Fifteen Flares is a series I have been working on that follows the lives of 15 teenagers living in a small seemingly idyllic island tourist town in NW Washington state in the US. It will examine an assortment of coming of age issues and how the lives of the characters differ and overlap.
I published this before as a WIP, but removed it as I wanted to rework the story completely. I don't have the plot fully worked out so there may be changes to earlier chapters as I continue to work.
I won't have a schedule for posting updates, so subscribe for updates if you want to be notified.
Title Fifteen Flares is taken from Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish.
<3 enjoy my beautiful fucked up children. I love them so.

Summary
+++++
Laura stepped carefully into the next room, avoiding stacks of books and papers, and found a small box on his shelf, she opened it expecting to find his tarot cards wrapped in black cloth, “It’s empty!” she called.“What?” he squawked, stepping around the corner, he was holding a platter of deviled eggs, “Where did they go?” he asked.
“Where did you leave them?” she countered.
“There, of course, they’ve never run off before!” he said, and frowned as if saying how’ bout that?
“You promised readings,” Laura pouted.
“I’ll buy some on the way, I need to buy beer anyway,” he said, waving dismissively and opening the front door.
+++++My works are getting flagged so I need to make sure I make it clear that some of the lore and basic characters are inspired by Teen Wolf, but I changed enough that I didn't think the fandom would appreciate me saying this is Teen Wolf Fanfic... it's work that is fan-ISH inspired by Teen Wolf.

Summary
We meet up with Shay two months after Megan reads her text to Tyler at the carnival. She has spent her summer avoiding her family, crawling in and out of Tyler's window and crashing with assorted friends and acquaintances. This story will be about her navigating her dysfunctional family, finding new friends, first love, and trying to attend school and find stability in her life.
For those new to the fandom: SKAM Austin is a remake of a Norwegian show called SKAM. Each season is from a different character's POV. Season 1 was from Meg's POV, Meg cheated on Marlon, Shay (because she liked Meg) helped the rumor spread, Meg found out and guessed it was because she liked Marlon, then Meg accidentally saw a text between Shay and Tyler that outed her, nobody told Shay they saw the text. As far as we know, Meg, her friend Grace, and Tyler are the only people who know that Shay is gay. This story is a prediction of Shay's season roughly following major plot points from the original series. Austin remake is notable because Shay's character in the original is male, which got me super excited for her story.
I started this project as a series of short stories, but have joined them into one. No update schedule.

Summary
'What the hell is Eddie Munson doing here?
Probably for the same reason Steve is.
"—how many times I've said that I will not be conforming to society's bullshit expectations of—oh." Eddie cuts himself off when he notices Steve sitting criss-cross by the pool.
He eyes Steve carefully before moving closer, head tilted and dark eyes narrowed. Eddie is apparently notorious for being hot-headed, a complete maniac, a freak. Steve isn't sure how any interaction between the two of them will go, what with them being complete polar opposites.
"What is a pretty boy like you doing out here all alone?" Eddie asks.
Steve finds himself flushing at the comment. Eddie is closer now, still looking at him intently, and Steve pulls his eyes away, staring at the water rippling underneath his palm.
"Party blows."'
~Rising NBA star Steve Harrington lives for parties, booze, and casual sex...until he meets Eddie Munson, magnetic frontman of 1989’s hottest metal band, Corroded Coffin. Their secret nights blur friendship and something more, but fame, drugs, and Eddie’s refusal to believe in love threaten to divide them. Can they survive the chaos, or will love be the song Eddie never writes?

Summary
“I should go,” Eddie blurts out, standing up so quickly that the chair under him scrapes against the floor like nails on a chalkboard.
Just like that, the spell breaks, and Steve’s smile drops. His brow furrows incredulously. Standing as well, he says, “What? Why?”
If only Eddie could list the reasons.
Sorry Steve, I really thought you making sweet and passionate love to me meant something to you as it did to me, even a fucking modicum. You positively ripped my heart out of its cavity and jump-roped on its remains. Please excuse me so I can stagger out your front door and throw up into your mother’s rose bush.
(or: the morning after, and the days after that.)

Bookmarker's Notes
read through chapter 2.
This is so freaking good, but the author took a LOOOONG break between 1 and 2 so don't get too attached (too late)

Summary
“Wait,” Steve grabs Eddie's hand before he flies away. “Stay?” His eyes are worn and a hint of fear shimmers underneath.
“This is really scary,” he admits. “I don’t know what’s going on and I don’t know when I’ll suddenly disappear. Maybe I’ll just disappear for good? It’d be nice if there was someone familiar around. Plus,” Steve adds with a weary grin, “you were probably busy before I intruded.”
He peers around Eddie to nod at the desk that he'd been standing next to. Eddie hears an echo of disappear for good and thinks that maybe he wants to watch over Steve while he sleeps too, make sure that he doesn’t pop out of existence under Eddie’s nose.
In 1984, Eddie finds himself in front of a rugged version of the preppy jock he’s only peripherally aware of at school. Compelled by Steve's tale of time travel, Eddie invites him to hide in his trailer until he can return to his proper place and time in 1986.
