Summary
Silver can't help the shaking of his body as Flint drags him back up again, this time against Flint’s body. The hand over his mouth presses Silver’s head into the softness of Flint’s stomach and his thighs are solid against Silver’s back. His other hand wraps around Silver’s chin, holding his head up, trapping Silver between his body and his hands.
How easily he can snap Silver’s neck right now.
“Breath through your nose.” Flint says softly instead, just holding him there, “Slowly, slowly.”

Summary
Gods are not the only thing that can control the weather out here at the sea, monsters too. And Silver had witnessed it, the shadow that Flint casts in the moonlight, it fidgets and turns restlessly, the shape of it so strange that it bears no likeness to a human figure.

Silver looks up and sees Flint’s body bent low, low, his mouth full of sharp teeth directly in Silver’s face. His eyes are completely white right now as if his pupil has just disappeared.
