Summary
Every Christmas day, Katara always - always - lost her mittens. She didn’t know if it was a curse by the Christmas gods or whatever deity up there that loved to torment her.
It sucked.

|Discontinued|
A series of disconnected one-shots (with the occasional two-shots) where Pokemon live in the Avatar universe. Some have angst, some cracky, others fluffy. Why? Because I can.
Some one-shots would be gen, others would be Zutara, while some would be gen with implied-Zutara. I'll give a heads-up if a one-shot contains pure Zutara beforehand.

Summary
Oikawa struggles as he faces the loss of childhood and the constant fight to get above the ordinary. Ever since coming to Argentina, everything keeps getting harder, the days longer, the nights lonelier. Despite his achievements, he is not a genius.
Y/n on the other hand lacks his goal-oriented pacing through life. To be honest, she doesn’t know what she intends to do in the future. Hesitation binds her to the familiar.
It all starts with a chance encounter (and a little bit of Japanese).

Summary
The intricacies of war is something you do not know much of. You’ve been told it starts quietly, that war never begins with the trading of blows and bloodshed. In truth, you never really quite understood what that meant, but then you suppose you weren’t meant to. Politics wasn’t on your curriculum, traded out with sewing and painting and other useless commodities.
But still, you’d heard about the unrest to the south, the rumors of dissent and the anti-capitol posters. You’d wondered, at the time, if that was what people meant. If you could trace back to the first protest, the first whisper of treason, would you be able to pinpoint the exact moment a war became an inevitability?
The capitol gates come crashing down with an explosion of gunpowder and debris.

Summary
The war is over, but there are still things left unsaid but one thing that is for certain is that Zuko wants Katara on the throne next to him. Of course, nothing is ever so simple. The Fire Nation is built on tradition and even though they have become more accepting a waterbender (and a bloodbender for those who know) will not be accepted. Katara must prove herself to be better than good enough in the eyes of the Fire Nation court, while also dealing with her morals after the war.
Whoever said peace was simple and easy was a goddamn liar.
Set after the war, sequel to Two Sides of the Sea.
(and that liar might be Aang)

Piandao remembered that Katara was much more than what most people saw of her. He spent one day training her before the comet, and one day was enough to tell him that the girl had a power beyond reckoning that most men would barely be able to comprehend.
“What do you want?”
Her eyes narrowed, and she held the dagger tight in her hand. “I want to be Firelady.”

Summary
'Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.’ - Marcus Aurelius
No one knew where The Painted Lady of Republic City came from. They only know that one day, she did. Healing the sick, fighting injustice where she could, and ruining profiteering capitalist organisations when she could.
And OZAI Corporations will stop at nothing to put an end to this brand of vigilante justice, even hiring the elusive powers behind Blue Spirit Investigations to seize and desist her from further damaging the chaos her revolutionary care is inspiring among the people... by any means necessary.
A tale of justice, love, and revolution.
