Saparata is just happy that he'll be seeing his childhood friend Parrot again after so long thanks to this trip, Parrot agrees.

So, just like a normal best friend would, he establishes "Church of Parrot". A safe space for his friend where Wifies and the others can worship him like he deserves.
Parrot doesn't like that idea at all.

from that point forward, parrot begins noticing strange things happening around him, whether its a wither rose here, an instinctive feeling of being watched there, or even a stranger he finds himself a little too comfortable with.
