Pretending to be someone's boyfriend was one thing. Pretending to be the boyfriend of your childhood best friend is on a whole other level of stupid things Park Jisung has ever done. However, when Chenle had come up to him and asked him if he wanted to be a part of the biggest and most ground-breaking prank ever, he just couldn't say no.
Still, there was nothing that could possibly go wrong, right? One could not possibly fall in love in a matter of weeks! At least, neither Chenle nor Jisung thought so, that's for sure.

Summary
It’s a long walk. Longer than Chenle and Jisung were prepared for, but they power through it begrudgingly, with the occasional whine slipping to the surface every now and then. It’s mindless chatter for the most part and talks about both everything and nothing in between; hushed apologies from Chenle are spoken one second and warm it’s ok’s from Jisung are murmured the next, but it’s fine like that. It keeps them grounded in a way, drowning out the cars and trucks that zoom past them, unknowing.
“I think this is a good spot,” Chenle says out of breath, “If we go any further I’ll die before I even get the chance to jump.”
Jisung gives a wry smile. “That’d be nice.”Chenle laughs dryly. “Yeah. It would.”

He clears his throat. “I want to,” he insists. “I threw a trash bag at you, so… Let me make you dinner and we’ll call it even.”

Chenle had always thought death would be an ugly thing; a people-wrecking inevitability that everyone will have the misfortune of coming across.
But as he’s standing in front of Death, it’s maybe the most beautiful thing he’s ever come across, defined cheekbones, sharp jawlines and cupid’s bow lips ― it makes him want to die; to be put to endless sleep in the euphoria of Death’s arms.
Nevertheless, he does not trust Gods like that. Death will take him to museums and parks, kiss him in every beautiful place so he can never go back to them without tasting it like blood in his mouth. It will destroy him in the ugliest way possible, ‘til he’s left with nothing but the realisation of why storms are named after Gods.
And then, he’ll beg at the graveyards to just kill him, and let his soul be the overgrown with moss, his veins fill with rainwater and lungs swell with flowers.
