En Isla Ballena las estrellas brillan en el cielo cómo si fueran destellos de magia esparcidos sobre el manto oscuro de la noche. No hay ni una pizca de contaminación lumínica, cuando el sol se va y el espectáculo del atardecer acaba, no hay nada que impida que el cielo estrellado se luzca de una manera que haga que todos levanten sus cabezas embobados.
La primera vez que miró las estrellas con Gon fue en Isla Ballena, cuando ambos tenían doce años. En aquel entonces, Gon quería encontrar a su padre y Killua quería encontrarse a sí mismo; conseguir su propio anhelo. En el fondo, Killua quería estar junto a Gon, pero eso no era suficiente por sí solo para encasillarlo cómo una meta personal, ¿Verdad?
