Summary
The always studious Anders is pulled from his medical school homework one night when his boyfriend, Karl, doesn't come home when he should. Anders gets a call that changes his life forever. He drops out of school, and upon meeting a famous writer at his new bookstore job, he meets a new crew of friends from the overly-sexual Isabela, to the ball of sunshine Merrill. The one that sticks out to him the most is Garrett Hawke, an incredibly handsome and flirty young bachelor. The group quickly bonds, and just as quickly, everything Anders cares about is ripped from him. Three years pass and Anders finally reconnects with the friends he'd neglected for so long.
Okay, so I've never written fanfic for Dragon Age before despite being a part of/loving this fandom for the better part of the last ten years (or more, honestly, I don't remember). A recent hyperfixation resurgence has me thinking about my favorite apostate terrorist man and I just... love him so much?! I hope y'all enjoy this for real tho.
