Summary
___
… everything else he could just write down, if whoever he was with could be bothered to wait.He wasn’t mute or anything. Well, mostly. He could talk, in theory. His mouth worked fine. He had a tongue.
But words, in Newt’s experience, were dangerous. And when everyone started asking him how he was more often, after his parents divorce, and then after he broke his leg in a suicide attempt they had managed to cover up as an accident, Newt just decided to stop responding.
____________Or
Newt doesn’t talk to anyone much - he can manage a few words for his best friend, Minho, and sister, Sonya.
He gets by in school and works part time in an icecream shop near his house.
Then Thomas appears, and he’s just so easy to talk to. So easy to make out with, as well. He might be Newt’s favourite person.

Summary
Newt has it all figured out. He’s at a party, and he’s sober, like always. He’s okay. He might have a tiny crush on his very straight friend, but that’s fine.
Thomas has none of it figured out. He’s at a party, but he’s blackout drunk, which isn’t like him at all. He can’t ignore his feelings anymore. But he’s not gay - he can’t be.
Basically drunk Thomas being in love with Newt <3

The only HP crossover character is Neville Longbottom, a side character and now a profesor at the school.
I do not support JK at all.

Summary
Hc where Thomas/Newt were a couple prior to Newt’s death.
After Newt dies, Thomas has to learn how to survive what should have been their happy ending on the island after the events of the Death Cure.
Minho misses Newt, too, but he’s too busy holding everyone else together to fall apart.
Thomas isn’t. Thomas falls apart.
And soon he starts to swear he can see Newt, pacing the beach when everyone else is asleep.
