It was safe to say that Castor was NOT excited to rob this place. He was barely comfortable the few times he had stolen from grimy gas stations where he fit right in with his ratty clothes and overgrown hair. This restaurant was sure to be filled with expensive suits and polished shoes, and Castor would look painfully out of place. Honestly, the wait staff would probably take one look at him before calling the cops. Alas, his friends argued that he blended into the background better than the rest of them, and could easily steal some car keys and food without anyone sparing him a glance.
(He did not agree, but he was outvoted. "This is a democracy, Castor.")

Summary
The attack was not for no reason, the plan was not to ruthlessly waste thousands of lives and cause needless mass destruction. The plan was… complicated, to say the least. In short, it was to draw the country’s attention to unveil the truth. Tess darted down the endless stairs leading to camp as the explosions started sounding, rocking the ground beneath her. She started running, not to get away from the danger, no, she was perfectly safe. She ran in attempt to get deep enough underground so the earth above her would mute the agonized screams and fizzing of burning flesh less than a mile away.
Tess is part of a rebellion planning to overthrow the government. To do so, they need to use the president's daughter as an information source and a bargaining tool. What happens when Tess needs to earn her trust in order to get information, and... maybe her eyes are really pretty.
Or, Tess is riddled with guilt, the world outside is ripping itself to shreds, and the president's daughter might be able to help Tess in more ways than one.

Summary
Sam doesn't bother explaining, just tips his chin to let Dean see the livid bruising where the witch's doll strangled him.
Dean hisses. "Jesus, Sam." Callused fingertips run down his neck, lingering over the mottled marks and exerting just the tiniest, fluttering bit of pressure before returning to the wheel. When Sam glances over, his brother is staring at the road again, too intent to be casual. "I guess I know why you didn't mention it, but... man, you gotta let me know if you're really hurting. There's a line when it comes to this kind of thing. A little sore throat is on the sure, okay side of the line, and my-throat-is-swelling-closed-'cause-I-got-freakin'-strangled-nearly-to-death is on the tell me right the hell away side."
In other words... Placed after the end of 12.20, when Sam doesn't wake up to Dean frantically calling his name. Sam isn't okay, Dean isn't okay, and there's a laundry list a mile long of reasons why. Sam talks. Dean listens. Actual meaningful conversation happens. Sam might sleep in Dean's bed. There was too much pain and too little casual affection and care this episode, honestly. Needless to say, spoilers abound. Proceed with caution.

Summary
Season 10. A haunted house on Halloween, what could be more appropriate for the Winchester brothers? It was supposed to be a quick, easy case followed by a candy-binge and a horror movie marathon. Nothing goes to plan, though, and the boys find themselves with a case spiraling out of control. Even worse, something is very, very wrong with Dean. COMPLETE.

Pre-series. Less than an hour ago, Sam’s nose had been buried in a history textbook and Dean had been finishing off a two liter bottle of Mountain Dew while watching a truly horrible B movie marathon. Holed up in the motel, they’d had a pizza and a gigantic bag of candy to share and nowhere to go and nothing to do. But then he’d blinked. And Sam had disappeared.
