There’s a white toothbrush in the cup on Pim’s sink. It's Charlie’s. Pim bought it one night from Target for him during a particularly nasty hangover morning. It came in a pack of three and cost two dollars and fifteen cents, including tax.--
Something feels different tonight. Maybe it's something in the way Charlie's looking at Pim, something in the catch in his breath.
