Summary
It took one distracted idiot in their Ford F-105 to land Wes a ticket straight to purgatory. Now, it's going to take a heck of a lot more to get him out. Danny has to find a way to steer Wes away from death while trying to keep his sanity in check. Will Wes and Danny find a way to leave, or will they both end up trapped in purgatory forever?
tldr: Danny can somehow go into purgatory and visits a new-to-town Wes who got hit with a truck (trope).

Summary
Dash hears a beautiful voice coming from the school's showers. Danny is singing his angsty self away. What happens when Dash finds out that Danny is depressed as heck and has lots of self-confidence issues? Or when Dash finds out Danny's secret?
So this was originally gonna be a one-shot style prompt sort of thing for the first chapter, so it's in the third person. But people wanted me to continue so I changed it to first-person from Danny's point of view! Neat! But if people don't like it I am not against editing it back to be third person.
(9/27/23 Edit: hey so I promise I haven't abandoned this fic. It haunts my consciousness too much to leave it unfinished, so I am gonna try to wrap this up so I can put it to rest. Thanks for sticking it out with me.)

[“Uhm, I don’t know who you are,” Zuko grumbles into the phone, effectively cutting probably-drunk-guy off, “but this most definitely isn’t your sister.”
It’s quiet for a few moments and if not for the background noise on the other end of the line, Zuko would assume the stranger had hung up.
“Yeah,” the guy says at last, “you don’t sound like Katara at all.”
“Because I’m not,” Zuko mutters, not all too worried about sounding bitter or rude because it’s the middle of the night and most people would be pretty grumpy at being woken up by some probably drunk stranger.
“So who are you then?” the guy asks.
Zuko blinks a couple of times to himself. “Not your sister?”]
OR
Zuko's early morning starts even earlier when he's rudely woken up by a call from a drunk stranger. Turns out this drunk stranger is kind of endearing though.

“‘Yoshiki’ shakes his head. “You don’t get it,” he whimpers as he presses the palms of his hands against his eyes.
“What makes you so sure?” Hikaru asks, a tinge of annoyance in his words now. He’s the human being here, not ‘Yoshiki’.
‘Yoshiki’ shoots him a look filled with so much bitterness it borders on resentment. Yoshiki had never looked at him like that before and it knocks the air out of his lungs to see such a look on that face, directed at him. “He knew it so I know it. And he’s so sure it used to keep him up at night.” “

Summary
Wes knows that his soulmate is dead when all the colors fade from his vision. Then the colors return, much to his relief. Then they're gone, and then they're back, over and over, and Wes is determined to find out why.
Danny was alone for the worst moment of his entire life, for what he thought was the last moment of his life, until he changed back into his regular self. He's half-ghost now, and he has to keep it a secret from everyone, or they'll get hurt—or he will. So how in the goddamn did this random ginger he's never even met before figure him out.
