Despite the outside door being shut loud music poured through the walls to the point where Toya swore he could feel it pulsing through his body, the bass in time with what would have been his heartbeat. The music was calming, despite its sheer volume, it gave him something to focus on rather than the hunger that coursed through him, when he had gotten this hungry before distractions had been more than appreciated. He didn’t become violent when he needed to feed it just made him far weaker and without food, without blood his body would simply deteriorate.
