Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
If there's a universe where Owen can kill three demons without remorse, then surely, there must be a universe where he remembers the child he used to be and chooses mercy. This series started off with just a reunion fix-it fic and has quickly spiraled into an 'everyone lives' au, where much of it takes place post-Maze. These guys got some trauma to heal, and it's about time they start working on it, huh?

Summary
The loudspeaker crackled again as the lava closed in, and Owen flinched, clamping his hands over his ears and shutting his eyes. He didn’t want to die here, he realized. It was a bit of a shock, because dying actually sounded amazing right then, but dying while some pompous executives played Britney Spears over top of his screaming was strangely unappealing.
He kept his eyes closed as his breathing quickened, but he swore he could hear the lava creeping under the door and into the cell, cooking him alive.
He didn’t want to die here, he wanted to go see Apo. He wanted to go back to before all of this and wake up early and bake Apo pie and he didn’t want to die here he couldn’t die here he wouldn’t DIE HERE
