Summary
After a hard day Shane considers reaching out to Ilya for comfort. This fic takes place while he is dating Rose. I tried my best to write within canon, but I have yet to get my hands on the books, so I am exclusively working off of the show.
It also deals with darker experiences surrounding autism, such as shutdowns and meltdowns, which may be upsetting for some readers.
