Ignis must now deal with the aftermath of his bitching, whether that be co-workers catching his well-fucked scent in the Citadel, mildly humiliating quickies during his lunch breaks to remind his body that he isn't an Alpha anymore, or going to Noctis' apartment and being fucked by all three of his packmates to really drive the lesson home. It was a treasure, in some sense of the word - someone had treasured it, surely, once."
Sauron has declined and diminished in the intervening years, but his dreams of order and empire remains as vivid as the day they were conceived. He is a lieutenant, a deceiver, a tyrant, but above all he is a ruler of men.

Grantaire smiled. "Of all the things I cast, cartridges are the only things which are not counterfeit, for they are cartridges themselves and not likenesses of cartridges."

Summary
August 1832: Two months after the fall of the barricade, Enjolras pays Grantaire a visit.
Grantaire looked at the silver line tracing across Enjolras' cheekbone, occupying almost the exact same spot as his own new facial trophy. The mark on Enjolras was shallow and unobtrusive. It was thin as a hair. A sharp edged pamphlet thrown with sufficient velocity could probably have left a worse scratch.
"Golden ideal, marred," said Grantaire mournfully. "A stain upon the Republic herself. It cannot be borne, not by a fervent devotee of the revolution such as I."
Enjolras glared daggers into him. "I have come here to tell you that I don't care about your facial disfigurement and that you ought to come back. Stop mocking me."
Grantaire ignored him, floating on the euphoria of wine and Enjolras. He reached up and touched the thin, milky line on Enjolras' cheek.Series

Rather than scattering into a breath on the wind, or escaping out into the Void, he found himself drawn to the Halls of Mandos, as if he were some lowly elf spirit. It was no surprise then, that his past would literally come back to haunt him.
