“I was in the brewing den,” she explained, “for work.”
He leaned in again, sniffing the air around her, closer this time, even burying his face in her hair. “This doesn’t smell like kava…” he muttered, his voice laced with confusion.
She rolled her eyes, “Kava has always smelled like that, Neteyam.”
“No, it doesn’t,” he argued.
“Yes, it does! How else would it smell, then?”
“It—it’s supposed to be sweeter,” Neteyam stammered, “Like how you usually smell!”
She stared at him for a moment, confused. “What…?”⬷ Update Schedule: Spontaneous but maybe once or twice a month. Hopefully finish this one before the third movie comes out.

Summary
After defeating Gaea, Pandora Jackson, younger sister of Percy, returns to her quote-on-quote “normal life” at Gotham Academy. Going through the normal teenage angst mixed with serious PTSD and stuck-up rich kids, she’s got enough problems to deal with. So having Damian Wayne, her “mutually beneficial acquaintance,” walk in on her fighting a monster—and him being able to see it—causes a whole lot more problems. Nothing in life has ever been easy, but it’d be nice to catch some sort of a break.
Will she remain just acquaintances with Damian? Will he share his secret and traumas? Or will their tentative friendship end with the new challenges thrown their way?
