    Long ago just before the rings of power were made, the sirens hid themselves away from the world.

    Ulmo's children found the race of men too tempted by them and the world too wary of their kind, so they found an underground cavern and departed from the world above of Middle Earth.

    The city of Maciel was made, and the city of Elovuthel fell into legend just as their race did.

    While Corruption seeps into Mirkwood, it also has found its way deep into the earth and to Maciel.

    Volunteering to save her city, Nalin is granted permission by the council to leave Maciel.

    What the siren didn't expect to find was being part of a journey to watch Dwarves reclaim their home, nor to fall in love with a human. Even less likely was to let her path find its way to Galadriel and one day join a Fellowship to help Bilbo's heir, Frodo.

    The heir to the Ambassador's seat of Maciel, secret heir of Elovuthel and Ulmo's blessed; Nalin writes about her journeys over the years.

    Sixty years ago her path briefly led her to Legolas, now they meet after 30 years of silence between them.
